Finished Finishes

Hey, Friends!
We’ve gotten some rain with threats of storms the last few days, so it seems like summer is on the way.  We really needed the rain, and a day once in a while is fine by me.

Last weekend was IHSW (International Hermit and Stitch Weekend).  If you’re interested in participating read more about it on Joysze blog.  The next one is May 18-20.
During my hermiting, I finished up Adam and Eve by Little House Needleworks.  This week I found an 8x8 frame at Michael’s (50% off plus 20% coupon), and here it is! It went in and out a few times, but I finally like how it turned out not exactly like the one Diane used, but it works for me.  So begins my A&E wall.

I also got a frame for the Primitive Needle 1632 piece (on the black walnut stained fabric) and it looks just like I wanted.  This one is from Hobby Lobby (50% off).  With my alterations to the design, it came out to fit the mat I had cut at 6x8.  Here’s how the wall looks now.

Thanks for stopping by, today and always.  Your kind words are appreciated!
I'm grateful for computers!

and Happy Stitching

  10. You are so productive, Charlene. I think there's a piece in my drawer that's been waiting nearly forever to be framed. Do you use glass in the frames? Great stitching, BTW!
