TuSAL and Friends

Hey, Friends!
We had the first New Moon of 2012 last week, and I’m just getting our first TuSAL posted, but did take the photo that day (not that there is a lot of difference now)!  Once again, it will be in the right sidebar over thereà
Today (Friday) I had a nice treat – some of the girls I’ve come to know from PALS were taking a road trip today, and they traveled down this way to visit Stitch and Frame Shop.  I was happy to slip away from the office for a few minutes to visit with Linda, Sarah, and Faye – The Carolina Stitcher!  She had ‘Sarah’ in the car with her, and she brought her in to share.  She’s close to being finished – you know that blazing needle of hers!
One of the nice ladies in the shop, Carol, had just finished the Blackbird Designs 2011 Loose Feathers piece, and it was scrumptious!  You know I left my phone on the desk at work, so no pics of the visitors or any of their lovely works!
As for my needle, Mary and I are moving along slowly.  Not a lot of difference, but a little (please ignore the crevices).  There have been a couple of very distracting pieces along the way so she may get to go back for another nap before too long.  You see, my ‘not really a resolution’ to only use stash didn’t quite make it through January.  Lizzie*Kate’s “A Little Love” kit is too precious for words!  And I was trying to let LHN Christmas Ornaments for 2012 go by this year, but did you see "Blessed"?  She’s an adorable angel.

I'm grateful for my LNS

PeaceëLoveëJoy
and Happy Stitching

  1. How nice that you got to visit with your PALS friends for a bit, Charlene! Your sampler is looking so, so pretty--it still amazes me how long it takes to get a one inch square stitched. People who don't stitch have no idea, do they?!

Yes, there are way too many temptations out there on everyone's blogs--I wish I was one of those people who only needed a few hours of sleep each night so I would have more time for stitching :)

Thanks for providing the easy links to the cute little LK and LHN projects that you fell in love with. It's tough, isn't it?

    Have fun.

  10. Why do you think the designers have market in early to mid February??? Because that is when we all BREAK our Resolutions and buy more stash!!! How great that you got to visit the LNS with PALS buddies! Like the Lizzie Kate one... hope my LNS gets it in. Hugs!

  18. What a fun get away! It's always great fun to spend time with freinds.

Your Mary looks great! Fantastic progress! I know what you mean about not being able to resist temptation. I've been okay this month but know that next month will be hard with Market coming out! Those BBD gals have been awful quiet--I think that translates to a bunch of stuff that I won't be able to resist!
