A little posting

Hey, Friends!
Barbara over at To Stitch or Not to Stitch is starting a blog for folks to publish their stash for trade or for sale or what they’d like to find.  Take a look to see if you’d like to join or publish there.
Do you subscribe to Just Cross Stitch?
I stopped mine and decided to just pick up the ones I want.  Yesterday I stopped by my LNS and they had one waiting for me.  It’s the July/August edition, also known as the Christmas Ornament Preview. There are not 20 ornaments, a few are patriotic designs.  Some are cute and I hope to get a few stitched.
Have you seen that Karen (‘s Handiwork) is having what she calls Throwback Thursday?  It’s very interesting to see some of the projects she stitched “in the beginning” and where she is today!  Have a look at her Americana smalls, too.  Her needle has been blazing!

Mine hasn’t been blazing, but getting a bit of workout.  BoaF Green Santa was the finish of the week.  The final one is Gold… but there’s something in the Q-S now that will probably take a little while…  and there are a few other smalls I’d like to get done as well.  We’ll see what happens!

Thanks for stopping by, today and always.  I appreciate your thoughts and comments!
I'm grateful for finding an old project in the mass confusion of my craft room!

and Happy Stitching

  1. I love the idea of the trading blog...will def check it out!! Isn't that Karen the best? She has come up with another creative idea to get us all thinking about the days, WAY BACK WHEN we started stitching.... Nice.

Hope this finds you in a good place Charlene...You have been on my mind and hope all is well...

  2. Yes, I was checking that issue of JC out last night at the library. Waiting, waiting for it. That is my problem, too many projects I want/need to get done.

  5. Yep, I got my magazine last week, and have picked out a couple of things I want to do out of it. Problem is when? I did enjoy reading Karen's throwback - very cool! Your little Green Santa is darling. Hope you are doing okay and enjoying life.

  6. Sounds like that magazine is worth purchasing, Charlene. I'll check it out at the library before I make a decision!

I love your green santa--I recently won all four in an Ebay auction. Who knows when I'll get to them, though. Never enough hours in the day, are there?

Thinking of you, my friend :)

  10. Glad to read there are some good ornaments in this issue. I don't normally purchase it, but I really liked the looks of what was on the cover so might have to order it.

Love the green santa, and you're so lucky to have the gold one! They're on my list to stitch this year, at least the charts I have.

  11. Oh, I love your Santa!! He is adorable. I have grand plans to stitch all of the BOAF Santas, but of course haven't started one yet.

I'm glad to hear that the ornaments in the issue are worth the price of the magazine!
