Hey,
Friends!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone! Hope yours is as warm and beautiful as ours here in the South of Carolina. What? The door to the deck is open and the a/c has just come on... it's 80 degrees out there.
I’m
a winner, I’m a winner! You can tell how
tickled I am – but unless you read about it someplace else, it will
only be revealed here when it arrives!
Having so much fun stitching for March, and
although I’ve never been one for much St. Patrick’s Day celebration, ‘the
green’ has turned me on this year! First there's St. Patrick Bird by Heart in Hand. You see I've taken some liberty - as I usually do - shhhh …
and left off the words. If you want real inspiration, hop over to see Carol's bowl.
Did
you see Marly’s pretty BoaF Boys? I
commented that I couldn’t find Gold Santa, and, bless her heart, she told me where she found hers. I called, and would you believe they still
had! How lucky was that? Maybe ‘the
green’ played in my favor J.
Ah... there's a bag with something that shouldn't be bent hanging on my mailbox... better run out there to see what it could be...
Thanks for stopping in for this brief post, and I really appreciate all your kind words and comments - even when I don't take the time to respond personally.
I'm grateful for friends who share their
sources!

ReplyDeleteOoooh what was in the package?? I love all those long legged bird charts! But especially the March one! Too cute! Just finished corned beef, cabbage, boiled red potatoes and Irish Soda bread for dinner with all the family--yummmm.... Gonna go out tomorrow to try to find new 'green' tops for next years wearing! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI just love those long-legged birds, Charlene. I have the Valentine's and 4th of July one, but have never seen the St. Patrick's Day chart... Very cute finish!! And thanks for the sweet comments on my own green finishes :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you found that elusive gold santa... Can't wait to see what your winnings are!! Enjoy your week now!
What did you win, I'm so excited to see what it is, I love surprises. Your little Irish bird is very cute. Glad you found your gold santa. Enjoy the good weather.
ReplyDeleteI am a little late to the party but your little bird looks great. Man did we have some wicked storms here this weekend. The early spring sure is nice, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteTop of the day to you darling. Just passing through (blogs). I was traveling back home on St. Patty's Day and trying to find some energy to get back in routine. We came home to dust blowing brown out cold temps over the weekend. We are to be bit warmer today and by this weekend in the 80's. So... Enjoy your beautiful weather. See you around soon... I hope.
ReplyDeleteYour bird is really cute, Charlene. Hope you're enjoying the warmth! It snowed a bit here again, enough to make me really long for spring.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute finish, Charlene! It looks great. 80s--yikes. I'm not ready for it to get that warm just yet!
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through Daffycat's blog.
