New Beginnings

Hey, Friends!

The time has come – back to work tomorrow.  It has been a great break!  I spent most of New Year’s Eve on the computer, blog surfing.  Looking at many year-end reviews and getting ideas about what my 2014 list might include.  To date list has five large, one medium sized, and will surely be scattered with some smalls.  One of the designs on the list wasn’t where I thought it was, so I did a little scrounging organizing to find it.  I came across many I love again, so the list has grown to about 20!  Here’s the one I started on January 1, 2014.  Know who she is?  Is your list all filled in?

Our Carolina Panthers won the NFC South.  The last time we were in the playoffs was 2008.  #KeepPounding  Don’t know yet who we will play next weekend, San Francisco or Green Bay @Panthers.

Did I tell you about losing my camera? I thought I remembered packing it for the PALS retreat, but didn’t take any pics. When I got home I looked all over but couldn’t find it anywhere.  Thought I must have dropped it.  I read and looked and researched until I decided to get a new one.  I’m still learning how to use it, but love it for outside.  I was going through some bags to toss, and you guessed it – there was the old camera – slipped through an opening in the lining of a bag I had checked a couple of times before.  Wouldn't you know!

It was great seeing everyone who stopped by to say hello.  I appreciate your kind comments!

May 2014 be filled with Happy Stitching!

  3. I like your new beginning. Looks like you are off to a wonderful new start. Glad you were able to find your camera…maybe now you have a backup plan in the event you misplace either one of them.
Happy New Year to you and hope you get lots of stitching in this year.

  8. It's funny how your "want to stitch" list can grow after looking through all of your charts. :) I don't recognize what you are stitching, but it's looking pretty. Probably good to have a back up camera. :)

  10. And I probably shouldn't say Yay Niners!? Right? Hmmm... :) I have seen Edgar's start on the Christmas Band Sampler too... Congrats on the finish. Now I am wondering about whether to put in the holiday wording too... Not sure about the new start. Little House maybe? Don't know... Blessings to you!

  13. Good to have a backup camera anyway. Take it to retreats, not as sad if you lose it somehow. You are looking at a very creative year, I think!
