Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
What are you stitching now that Christmas is over? Will you begin a new project on New Year’s
Day? Have you joined the New Year's challenges? I’ve finished Santa’s Village, Poinsettia Place. By the way, I did notice that missing berry, and it has since been added. Now I’ve returned to Mary Gibson, and want to
finish this WIP before starting any new projects. I believe last January was the last stitch added. I'll share an update photo next time.
On Saturday, my LNS, Stitch and Frame, had their New Year before inventory
sale. Found a few charts I couldn’t
do without, a few fibers, a bit of linen, and they gave a discount coupon to be
used at some time later in the year.
Did you get to see any of the multitude of movies that came out
in December? DS and I went to see The
Hobbit. It was really good, wasn’t
it?
Thanks for stopping by, today and
always. I love reading your thoughts and
comments!

Happy New year to you and your family. I am contining to stitch on a number of WIPs from 2012 and hopefully will complete a number of them.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog, it is fun to see what others are stitching or crafty.
Hi there Charlene,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!! Poinsetta Place looks wonderful (even with the one berry missing:)
2013 stitching will be a continuation and some new starts, but…shall see.
Enjoy your day.
Jackie

ReplyDeletePretty finish, Charlene! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the pretty finish, and a very happy 2013 to you too. Loved The Hobbit!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year my friend. Here's to a great 2013 full of stitching!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you Charlene! I am not joining any groups, so I am not obligating myself to anything next year. But I hope to complete the 4 large Christmas projects I have started (well, three are started...) and throw in lots of BIRD charts! I like Poinsetta House, very nice! Gonna be a cute series. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe saw The Hobbit also, it was great! A Blessed, Happy New Year to you and Pixie.
ReplyDeletePoinsetta Place looks so bright and cheery. The reviews have been mixed on the Hobbit so I am happy to hear that you liked it. Happy 2013!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to get new stash.
We saw Lincoln. Amazing performances.
YAY! We made it through another year!! Hoping 2013 is a grand one for you, Charlene--you're off to a great start with that pretty finish :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year dear friend .. I hope 2013 is a great year for you!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year & all the best for 2013!!
ReplyDeleteI love your button scissor fob! And you're very clever to have worked on finishing rather than starting on the new year! It may become a trend.
