Hey,
Friends!
DS
wanted to take me out since last weekend we stayed in on Saturday, then took
Mom to Red Lobster on Sunday. We went to
the Vietnamese Grill, and it was really good!
I think the dish was called Bun – Vermicelli rice noodles
with salad and grilled meat. Sounds simple, but the seasoning was perfect! DS had Pho, and it was very good, too, with a
clear but very tastey broth.
It’s
IHSW,
and with the exception of going out to eat on Saturday, I’ve been right here. I finished the Gnomes in the Garden Row (Bent
Creek) piece that was intended for Mom’s Mother’s Day gift. Now to find the perfect frame for this long piece!
Now
I’ve started the pre-stitching of the pieces we’ll be finishing at Jan’s Tree of Life Samplings retreat in June. There
are several pieces, but I’ve only stitched the fob. That’s where I’m headed after this is
done. I’m getting excited to meet Jan
and some other new friends!
Thanks
for stopping by, today and always. I
appreciate the thoughts and comments you leave!
I'm grateful for a fine man son!
