First, I’m thinking of all you east coastal dwellers during this scary time. I so hope that Irene takes a right and heads out to sea and that no one will suffer any loss and that you and your loved ones will be safe and sound.
I was at work on Tuesday and thought wonder why my monitors are quivering – and a little rattle and creak through the building. Another girl down the way asked, Did y’all feel that?I said, Are there workers on the roof? She said, I don’t know, but I’m talking to somebody across campus, and they felt it too. We were quite surprised to learn that there had been a rather strong earthquake in Virginia – about 300 miles away! Also wishing you all safe and well, too!I finished framing With Thy Needle and Thread’s Mystery Birds of a Feather. She's hanging in my living room, and I really like the results.
Have you added lots of new goodies to your stash from all the recent new releases? So many wonderful choices… I’ve started stitching some pieces, but they’ll be exchanges so they will remain mysteries for a while. You’ll probably get to see them before Halloween.
I’m going to do some stitching now, and hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
