Fall is Upon Us

Something I read on Stephanie’s blog today …

Now don’t you think that is good news to be shared?  We really already knew that anyway, didn’t we?

This week I’ve finished a couple of Halloween boxes.  One is from Plum Street Sampler’s “My Pretties”.  I covered the box in purple with black bats fabric, and black ric-rac around the top.  The other is a fall design by OakHaven Designs called “Fall Flowers”.  This box is covered in black, orange, and white stripes with a ball and feather type yarn in fall colors as the trim for the top.  They are pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

I’ve been stitching a couple of Christmas ornaments, but they’re not ready for sharing yet… So I’m off to continue stitching them and catching up on some recorded shows.

Hope you’re enjoying some nice fall-like weather, too. It has been simply beautiful this last week.  It’s warming up again, but that’s OK as long as the humidity is down.
