Hey, Friends!
I hope everyone had a beautiful and Merry Christmas filled with family
and friends, good tidings, and great food.
Ours was small and fairly quiet this year, but that is fine with me.
DS took me to a Panther’s game for my birthday! It was totally awesome. We went to eat Vietnamese before the game,
took the train into the city, and got there in time to see the intros and coin
toss. Loved every minute –we won 30 - 20! It is really a competitive season so close to
the playoffs! @Panthers #KeepPounding
Are you getting ready for the New Year?
Do you have plans to join clubs or challenge groups? Personally I don’t do so well with those, so
my list will be as it comes about. I’m
really trying to get a design that is Christmassy finished so that I can start
a new project on New Years’ Day. Will you start a new one, too? Hopefully I’ll post a pic before Valentines’ Day!
My LNS (Stitch and Frame Shop) is having a pre-inventory sale on
Saturday. The sale also includes a
percent off coupon for the New Year. If
you have something in mind, you can participate in the sale online here.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what my stitching goals look like for next year. I know I have a bunch of wips I really want to finish ;)
Glad you had a good Christmas! Ours was very nice too. Yes, I'll start a new project on New Year's Day, a Halloween design :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a lovely Christmas. The Panthers are having a great season. So glad that you got to a game. Fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I have just begun a large Riolis kit that is a gift for my husband.
ReplyDeleteSo great that you got to go to the game with your DS -- sounds wonderful! I like quiet Christmases!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas

Well, Happy After Your Birthday! And I am glad it was a Merry Christmas for you. Mine was different--not DONE yet! We opened presents in the morning, I cooked dinner, then my daughter, SIL and granddaughter came over for dinner and after eating we did more presents! Then the weekend after New Years my OTHER daughter and the family are coming up and we're doing it again! Ha! I'm a 49ers fan...what can I say? It's in the blood... As for stitching plans... I don't plan on doing ANY clubs or SAL's this coming year. I DO plan on finishing a lot of WIPs instead. Stitching from my stash is what I have in mind. Never mind that my list of wants grows every time I am on the internet! It can just stay a 'list'! Happy New Year to you my friend!
ReplyDeletePretty quiet Christmas here, too. Nothing as exciting as you've described! New Year's Day, I'll either be finishing a project or starting a new one, not sure which. There are so many possibilities! I finished one today. Working on another finish tomorrow. Maybe I'll start something new on the first!
ReplyDeleteYou got tovhovto a Panthers game??? I'd LOVE to do that someday!! YGG!!
ReplyDeleteI want to order from stitch n frame tomorrow.... Hopefully their discount for January can be used when we meet up in the 18th.. I can't wait!!!
Take care, see you soon an Happy New Year!!
Would love to go to a pro game someday. I can't believe the sale is Saturday....oh what a quandary.... should I go???? Sounds like you had a quiet but nice Christmas and I ours was too.
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching in the new year....
I live by Buffalo so I went to a Bills game once and had a great time. I also like the Panthers. I will be starting something new on January 1 as well. It is a HAED stocking for DS#1.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun game, Charlene! Nice to share it with DS, too :)
ReplyDeleteOur Christmas was a quiet one--just the way I like it!! I'm not much of a joiner either so I don't ever sign up for SALs and such... I don't like the pressure to "keep up!"
Wishing you every happiness in the new year, my friend:)
