September

Hey, Friends!

Morning Glories
Hibiscus
Can you believe it’s September?  When Pixie and I went out this morning, I snapped what are some of my favorites and will probably some of the last blooms this summer.

Go Panthers!
You've been getting your kids back to school or off to college - settling into the coming of fall - and our favorite football teams; right?

Had to replace the computer and got a laptop… still practicing! The photo editor is different, too! Enough said?

Did you realize it’s only 39 days until Stitching at the Beach with PALS?   Exciting times – just love it.  Did you see the list of special guests who will be there this year?  There's a countdown over in the right sidebar.

I got a note from my LNS that the Just Cross Stitch Christmas ornament issue is there waiting for me to pick up!  Sounds like a trip out in a little while!  Better check to see if there’s anything else.

PSS Gather
PSS Gobble
On the stitching front, the Plum Street Samplers Give was already done, Gobble is finished, and Gather is started.  Ghoul is in the stash, but it doesn’t have to be in this grouping -  I’m still considering how to finish them.  One thing is if I can find frames with 7x7 openings… then there’s the thought of a large frame with three 7x7 openings??

Thanks for stopping by, today and always.  I appreciate your thoughts and comments!
I'm grateful for the long weekend (last weekend)!

Peace☮  LoveYJoy
and Happy Stitching

  1. Good luck with the new laptop. It's always hard adjusting to new equipment. Love the flowers -- so pretty! Sad to think there won't be flowers around soon. Loooove your Gobble finish and your Gather start! That series is so much fun!

  2. ooOoo! I notice you have the same poodle graphic as I have for Mabel! Two cute poodles. :) You have a lot of stitching going on.

  3. Ready for Thanksgiving already? I still can't think fall with these temps and humidity! Sigh...

  5. Go Panthers! We are excited about football season around here. I think a large frame with 3 openings would be just fabulous. Might be a little pricey though.

  6. Charlene, I love your Gobble!! I have these in my stash and want to stitch them and frame together. I was thinking of black Crescent Colours/Family Tree frames, but then I want them for my kitchen and I have black chairs for my table.

  7. Great stitching and I like your idea for framing the 3 pieces. After seeing your countdown, I am feeling a bit panicky about getting everything done on time, that 38 days will fly by.

  8. Love your flower pix, beautiful but kinda sad. Your stitching, as usual, is gorgeous and I think that the three in one frame would be really cool. Looking forward to seeing you in MB!

  9. I'm having a hard time believing that September is here, but after the heat of this summer I'm glad that the temps are getting cooler.

Love your Gobble. I think that your idea for framing them is perfect.

  14. Love your Gobble finish, Charlene--I hope to stitch mine this year, too, but we'll see how things go. I just love fall stitching and am really looking forward to putting this hot and humid summer behind us. Can't wait to hear your report on the PALs get together--sure sounds like you girls have a great time together :)
